Mozilla platform for collaborative development

The “laboratory of ideas” Mozilla Labs has removed the well from Bespin, a latest project that aims to create a web-based platform and thus usable in remote mode to facilitate development activities due to a based on collaboration between users. Bespin has been in “incubation” for some months and, for the debut of the project, the Mozilla developers have wanted to show just how it is possible to develop interfaces for the web simple and “fashionable” using the unique features of HTML5. The integrated editor Bespin already has features that are responsible for different colors to highlight the syntax of the language, which allow you to import and export code, to cancel the changes made via a route, always get a preview of what is achieved directly in the browser.

The command line with which you can interface with Bespin recalls closely as part of Ubiquity. It also a convenient tool bar for access to main features. In the “prototype” of the original Bespin is not yet possible to use the mechanisms for collaboration among multiple users: the icon “people” appears in a corner of the window, however, suggests that the functionality will be integrated in the near future.
