Searching for images and news: Google brings the debut of two new services

Labs, the “laboratory of ideas” on Google are delivers new projects. Today is the turn of "Similar images" and "News Timeline." The first is a service that offers users not only search for pictures ever published in the millions of Web sites indexed by the colossus of Mountain View and in that condition that also to "filter" the results obtained on the basis of their interests. Since many of the examples are worth a thousand words and the Google has invited users to make that using the "Similar images" search by entering the word "jaguar". We will notice immediately how the results relate to the famous car manufacturer is similar to the leopard cat. If you are interested in images that depict the jaguar, simply click on the link below similar images offered for each photo. Laboratory Google cites a second example and a search on Egypt. In this case that will be shown images depicting the Pyramids, flags, maps, beautiful sunsets, monuments and so forth. Referring to the link similar images can be immediately identified photos of the same type selected.
